At KAMALE, we know how annoying it can be to stand in a store researching all the ingredients in a product. So, we made a simple, complete and transparent list of all the ingredients that made the cut for our delicate products and why.

arrowroot powder

With a high nutrient profile, arrowroot is great at absorbing excess moisture and toxins and also soothes inflamed skin.

candelilla wax

This plant-derived wax is very multi-functional. It is rich in nutrients, absorbs easily and has the capability to improve the appearance of skin. We also use candelilla wax to thicken and minimize the effects of temperature on our oil-based products.

In Jamaica, cerasee (also known as bitter melon, karela, asosi) is known as a cure-all herb and has traditionally been used to treat several skin problems such as rashes.

jojoba oil

Jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax ester. This "oil" is loaded with Vitamin E and is the closest match to the natural oils in our skin. Jojoba oil absorbs easily and is great for moisturizing and healing the skin.
